Bank Transfers - What Is It ?
A Bank Transfer is when money is sent from one bank account to another.
You either transfer funds from your account to mine, or you pay in cash at your bank which is then sent direct to my account.

Telephone and online banking offer a fast, usually free and easy way for you to transfer money into another account.
Contact your bank (online, telephone or visit your branch) and tell them you want to perform a Bank Transfer. They will explain the process if they offer this service (most do these days). You'll need my bank details (see above).

Do it Online. Log in to your online bank account and select the option for making a 'one off' payment. Follow the instructions on screen to enter my details (see above). Some banks also offer Smartphone apps that allow you to transfer money. Contact your bank to find out.

In-branch bank transfers. If you have the money in cash, you can pay it direct into my account in your bank branch. You'll need my bank details to perform the transfer. See my details above.

How long does it take for the money to be transferred?
Payments made using Faster Payments (was BACs in UK) will sometimes be received immediately after leaving your account, but can sometimes take up to 2 hours.
This option is free, available 24 hours a day and typically used in online banking, mobile apps, over the phone or in branch.
